The President and Committee of the Contemporary Art Society of Victoria warmly invites you to join with us for refreshments at the OPENING of our Artists' Showcase on Saturday 7 February between 1pm and 3pm at the Herring Island Gallery, Melbourne. Our exhibition celebrates the diversity of contemporary art produced by artists, both 2D and 3D artworks, fresh from their studios!
This year for the first time we present: our “Works on Paper Folio”
A selection of 80 unframed works on paper, that you can purchase, and
take home that day! An even more affordable way to start, or add to your
art collection!
We also have a range of “Artist made Cards” blank cards for all occasions, only $5 each!
If you can't make it to the opening, there are plenty of opportunities to see the show because it is open 3 weekends until 22 February (see the dates below).

• This exhibition is part of the Herring Island Summer Arts Festival.
• Herring Island Gallery hours: 11.00am to 4.30pm
Punt runs 11am – 4.30pm, with NO punt service between 12.30pm to 1.00pm
• Herring Island really is an island - it's in the middle of the Yarra River! Access is only by boat or punt. Catch the FREE Parks Victoria punt service from Como Landing, Alexandra Avenue, South Yarra (Melway Ref 2MC2 - near Kanteen Café)
